TJ Moen
Head Coach
TJ Moen started MWA in 2019 and is the head coach. TJ was an assistant coach at Grand View University after being the Head Assistant Coach at Campbellsville University the previous two seasons. While at Campbellsville, Moen coached eight All-Americans and a National Champion. Prior to Campbellsville, Moen was the Head Coach at Saydel High School where he coached 2 wrestlers to become state medalists. As a college athlete TJ was a two-time NJCAA All-American at NIACC. He finished his career at Grand View where he placed 3rd at the 2012 NAIA National Championships and helped lead the team to the first National Team Championship. In 2013, he was the USA Veterans Folkstyle National champ.

Ross Larson
Assistant Head Coach
Ross Larson was a standout heavyweight wrestler at the University of Oklahoma from 2013 to 2017. Competing at 285 lbs, he compiled an 89–45 career record with 55 pins — the second-most in OU program history. Approximately 62% of his career victories came by fall. In 2017, he led all of NCAA Division I in pins for the season. A four-time NCAA qualifier and three-time Big 12 placer, Ross was also a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection.

Austin Moen
Assistant Coach
Austin Moen competed as a heavyweight at Minot State University from 2016 to 2020. Before college, he wrestled at Des Lacs Burlington High School where he posted an 80–30 career record and was named all-region senior athlete of the year. Austin brings firsthand knowledge of the development process to MWA, helping young wrestlers build their foundations.
